Michelle LeBlanc


Michelle has been an avid athlete her whole life and also has a strong passion to help other athletes reach their dreams and goals. She has been a full-time coach in triathlon, cycling, and running for over a decade. She is the founder and owner of the new business, MACH 5 RACING, and the founder and former owner of OutRival Racing.

As an athlete, Michelle is a 3X NCAA All-American Cross-Country and Track athlete from the U.S. Air Force Academy and Rice University. She has raced triathlons since 1991 and raced as a professional triathlete for several years. Michelle’s accolades include USAT National AG Champion, Long-Course Duathlon National Champion, Hvyee 5150 Amateur Elite National Champion, and 2-Time Kona IRONMAN World Championship Qualifier (with a 10:18 Kona finish time). She also still holds the current Texas State Record for the 40K Individual Time Trial.

Michelle’s coaching resume includes helping elite triathletes reach professional and AG Podiums, the Hyvee 5150 Pro World Championship, USAT Collegiate National Podiums, USAT National Podiums and more! Michelle’s coaching passion also includes working with elite level junior athletes. She coaches multiple Youth National Champions and has led a USAT High Performance Team to a top-20 ranking in the nation for several years. She was founder and owner of a triathlon coaching team that was the two-time IRONMAN TriClub World Champions. She owned and managed a team of over 20 coaches and 300+ athletes for many years.

Michelle is also passionate about overall health and wellness and is the founder and owner of TRUE Health and Wellness, a business that seeks to help athletes and non-athletes stay healthy and fit. Current or Former Pros Michelle has had the privilege to coach include Sarah Hankla, Grace Benes, Liz Baugher, Todd Teren, Michael Arishita, Scott Wilkinson, Matt Hanson, Whitney Burdzilauskas, Derek Yorek, Mandy Heintz (USA Cycling Team).

Ryan Snapp has been an athlete his entire life. He comes from a collegiate running background where he ran cross-country and track at the Texas A&M. Ryan has been a top age-group level triathlete for many years and is known for his blazing run splits. Ryan has a passion for helping others reach their goals. He resides in Houston, Texas.

Michael Arishita


Bio & Education

Coach Michael Arishita has had a passion for both endurance sports and coaching for a long time. He started his coaching career with summer cross country camps as well as coaching the Texas A&M Triathlon Team.  Michael raced for the Aggie Triathlon team where he held a leadership roll and helped the team to three National podium finishes!  He is currently the Head Coach of the nationally-ranked Texas A&M Triathlon team.

Michael has a degree in Exercise Physiology and Pre Med and is now pursuing his passion of coaching and racing. He is currently living his dream as an ITU pro racing around the world! He currently races the draft legal ITU world circuit as well as in the Major League Triathlon professional triathlon league.  He is currently ranked the #10 top American short-course pro. His ultimate goal is to make an Olympic team.

John Impey


Bio & Education

John has spent all of his adult life pursuing an assortment of athletic endeavors both recreationally and competitively. These include: body building, cross-country skiing, biathlon, snowboarding, cycling – primarily mountain biking and road, running and most recently, triathlon. He currently lives in The Woodlands with his family.

He has achieved provincial titles and podiums in cycling over the last couple of decades. More recently, in triathlon, he has racked up age-group wins, an assortment of master’s titles and has even won a few races overall! He has a passion for training and racing as well as for learning everything he can about his sport and applying that to aid in success for himself and for others.

John has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a Professional Engineer (as recognized by APEGA).

Ewoud Hulsewe


Bio & Education

Ewoud (nickname Ed) was more of a “recreational athlete” growing up. His hobbies were mainly focused around windsurfing, sailing and some recreational mountain biking. With his focus on a career and young family, he did not enter the endurance world until age 40.  He was challenged to lose some weight and change to a healthier life-style. After only two short events, he completed his first IRONMAN. The journey has slowly help him lose over 70 pounds and he is now one of the faster Age Group racers in the local area! 

Through dedication and hard work, Ed has achieved several age group wins, masters titles, and overall podium finishes in a wide range of endurance events. His best achievement is 2nd place AG finish at the 2016 World Long Course Championship. He is also a 3-time All-American.

As an engineer, Ed is detail-oriented and enjoys following and implementing programs for success in sport. Even more so, he much enjoys applying his knowledge and help others reach their goals.

Tiffany Johnson


Bio & Education

Tiffany has coached hundreds of athletes from beginners to experienced. Tiffany has been passionate about coaching since 2009 and involved in swimming since 1996! She holds a bachelors degree with a double major in biology and kinesiology with post graduate work at San Jacinto College in Physical Therapy Assistant .Tiffany has been inspired by athletes of all levels to continue her education over the years and strives to give her athletes personal attention and constant communication. Tiffany is a successful triathlete, having participated in the sport since 2008 & working with many groups and athletes. ​Tiffany is married to Sean Johnson and they have 2 daughters, Sofia and Audrey Rose. Her family is her drive and reason for her success as a coach and athlete.

Karen Klucznik


Bio & Education

Growing up in rural Texas, Karen started her athletic career as a cheerleader and barrel racer.  Years later, she traded in her horse for a road bike and has never looked back.  She began running and cycling in her 20s and discovered her passion for triathlon in 2012 after learning to swim efficiently at age 42.   She competed in her first triathlon in 2013 and since then has competed distances ranging from sprint to full-Ironman and ultra-marathons.

Karen has taught indoor cycling and other fitness classes for over 5 years and has worked with every level of athlete from beginners to experienced.  She brings to Mach 5 an incredible passion for helping others achieve their goals and is a firm believer that anyone can do anything if they set their mind to it.  ‘Can’t’ is simply not a word in her vocabulary.  Her energy is contagious and she gives her clients the knowledge, support and encouragement they need to succeed.  

When not helping clients achieve their goals, Karen can be found training for ultra-distance marathons, triathlons and spending time with her son, Jake and their two dogs, Lola and Kona.

Marcos has been an avid athlete in a variety of sports. He’s an accomplished skier, runner, cyclist, mountain bike rider and enjoys pretty much any sport that is outdoors. Bio & Education

Kim Juul has a passion for fitness and nutrition. She is an avid athlete herself, having competed in over 20 triathlons! Kim is a Registered Dietitian in the State of Texas and enjoys helping athletes improve their nutrition and body composition. Kim is the mother of three children and resides in Houston.
